Supporting Documents for the creation of Lakeshore and Conservation Zoning Districts

3. Unique Natural Areas: Designated by the Tompkins County Environmental Management Council, the UNA Inventory was developed to provide information to municipal boards, landowners, and residents about the special natural areas in the county. Includes the description of the inventory, the data sheets for the four UNAs in the Lakeshore and Conservation Districts (UNA-61, 62, 91, and 92), and a 2008 Presentation from the Planning Board.
4. Stormwater: Includes the Town Local Law for Stormwater Management and Erosion and Sediment Control, and a report from the Stormwater Committee of accomplishments (2004-2007).

6. Slope Overlay Area: Includes the Planning Board justification and definition of Slope Overlay Area, and a map showing the location of the soils.

8. Water Rights: Includes an article from the American Planning Association, titled Local Zoning and Water Rights, examples from other lakes, and descriptions of different methods for determining water rights.
